With great pleasure we invited you to join us in Baiona (Spain) for 6th International Symposium Marine and Freshwater Toxins Analysis, October 22-25 2017
As in previous editions the symposium will address updated issues on the field of the analysis of Marine and Freshwater toxins, with special focus on new method developments and implementations. A variety of methods needs, for detecting marine and freshwater existing and emerging toxins will be addressed in presentations and focused discussions.
Principle organizer is the University of Vigo, Spain, home to the Department of Analytical and Food Chemistry with the close collaboration of the European Reference Laboratory for Marine Biotoxins located in the Campus of the University of Vigo.
The conference venue is the Talaso Atlantico, a high quality hotel with very impressive conference facilities located near Baiona and Vigo in the Galicia region of northwestern Spain. In addition to being the largest European producer of mussels, shellfish-rich Galicia is also a very beautiful and historic area.
In addition to the keynote talks, many contributed papers, both oral and in posters will allow additional opportunities to learn of and discuss state-of-the art detection methods as well as the advances and future perspectives on the analysis of marine and freshwater toxins.
